What does a postpartum doula do?

A postpartum doula provides emotional, physical, and practical support to help new parents recover, bond with their baby, and navigate early parenthood. This includes newborn care guidance, meal prep, bodywork, and emotional support.

When should I book postpartum doula care?

It’s best to book during pregnancy to secure availability. However, I work with families from the first hour postpartum up to 3 years postpartum.

Do you offer overnight postpartum support?

At this time, I only offer daytime postpartum care with a focus on nourishing support, newborn guidance, and maternal recovery.

How long do you typically work with a family postpartum?

Each family’s needs vary. Some book single-day visits, while others book multi-day packages spanning weeks or months. I recommend 6 visits booked within the first 6 weeks to fully support your recovery.

When can I receive postpartum bodywork after birth?

You can begin bodywork as early as the first few hours after birth, depending on your comfort level. Sessions are tailored to support cesarean recovery, vaginal birth healing, and overall postpartum well-being.

Do you offer in-home sessions or do I come to you?

Yes! All postpartum sessions are done in the comfort of your home so you can rest and heal in your space.

What areas do you serve for birth photography?

I currently serve Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Travel beyond 50 miles from my home base may include additional fees.

When should I book maternity, birth, or postpartum photography?

Maternity: Best scheduled between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy. Birth: Booking by 30 weeks is ideal, with on-call availability starting at 38 weeks. Postpartum: Sessions are best within the first 2 weeks postpartum to capture those early bonding moments.

Do you offer payment plans for photography services?

Yes, I offer flexible payment options. Please reach out to discuss custom payment plans.

Do you design websites on platforms other than Squarespace?

At this time, I specialize in Squarespace to create clean, functional, and visually stunning websites for wellness professionals, birth workers, and creatives.

What kind of businesses do you design websites for?

I primarily work with birth workers, wellness providers, doulas, energy healers, holistic coaches, and retreat leaders, but I’m open to working with any business that aligns with my style and expertise.

Do you offer website audits if I already have a site?

Yes! I offer a website glow-up service to refine your existing site, improve clarity, user experience, branding, and SEO.
